Hotel Carol - Prague

I stayed here 2 nights with my family. My previous trips to prague were nice, but this time carol exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was really tasty, and the staff did a great job helping us out.

the wifi was not working well.

Loved this fabulous hotel with pleasant staff at reception desk. The rooms were top-class, well laid out with enough space for our four-persons family, ideal for us.

I was blown away by the spacious Beautiful Double or Twin Room. The indoor pool was a refreshing oasis that we enjoyed every evening. The breakfast spread was a highlight, with an amazing variety that included delicious wood-fired pizza!

The employees were very polite and kindness. The room was extra clear and they check it daily. It is a very good choise to use for see-Prague tour. They are not in the centre but not far from it. You have good public transport and there is near a plaza too and the O2 areana (For concerts). For this money the room and the hotel was totally excellent. The breakfast was enough and many kind of meals, like ham and eggs, sausages, salamies, cheeses,muzlies, tea, coffee, chocholate, different kind of breads, fruits and fruit juices. So If i go again Prague to sightseeing I choose this hotel again.

Maybe the buildings in this distinct is not soo nice but there wereno problems with the location or the people. I have no negative opinion about the hotel or the whole stay.

The location is perfect because of the closinest to O2 arena. The hotel is perfect for people going to the concerts there.

The room was not so clean and it looked a little bit shabby.

The breakfast spread was really good, with a wide variety of delicious and fresh options, including some unique gluten-free choices that catered to different dietary needs.

The heating system in the room was quite noisy, which disrupted my sleep on a few occasions. It may need some maintenance for a quieter experience.

We chose this hotel for its close location to the 02 arena to see the foo fighters as it was only three minutes walk,but would recommend this hotel for visiting the city as again it was only two minutes walk to the subway which was very safe and so easy to use and cheap(you can also buy subway tickets from the hotel) and took only eight minutes to the centre of town.the hotel was immaculate,very modern(we stayed in room 103) and ultra clean,staff so help full great advice if you asked,ordered us taxis if we needed them etc, beer was cheap in the bar just over a pound a pint,we didnt eat in the restaraunt but looked and smelt very nice,and plenty of choice for breakfast. Would defo be coming back here with my family fo another stay

Clean and quiet hotel near city center under reasonable price.

The room was spacious, but the bathroom layout felt cramped.

We stayed here to see the rock band Muse at the O2 arena which is within walking distance, but I really loved the hotel and would stay here for other occasions also. The restaurant and bar are fantastic. The decor and cleanliness are excellent and make this a really great bargain.

Wasn't aware that they have a parking garage and that you have to request a space. Fortunately, we found a parking spot on the street right in front of the hotel, but it's more secure and convenient to park it in the garage.

For a budget-friendly hotel, Carol seemed close to perfect. I loved the design and how everything was so convenient. The dresser in the room had plenty of hangers and space (which I find rare in all the other hotels I've stayed in). Right next to the door was a separate shelf for storing your shoes and shopping bags, and for hanging your coat. It's very close to the o2 arena so it was very convenient for us as we specifically went to Prague to watch a concert. It's also about five minutes walking distance from the nearest metro station so going to the city center was a breeze. If you need to buy anything, a Tesco can be reached within 3 mins, and the Galerie Harfa mall is also nearby. The breakfast included in the room price was excellent as we had a lot of choices. They had many different types of bread and cereals. And it wasn't just the usual boring fare of cold cuts and cheese; there were also a selection of hot sausages, bacon, and eggs (sunny side up, or scrambled, or hard-boiled).

There was only one trash bin in the room, and it was inside the toilet and really small. It would have been more convenient if there was another bigger one beneath the sink and by the desk. One minor annoyance: in the morning of our last day, there was no electricity from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. According to the staff this was due to some problems with the electric company. This was obviously out of the hotel's control; however, it shows that the hotel does not have a power generator in case of outages.
